To check which version of Windows you have, hit Windows Key + R to open the run dialogue, type in winver and hit enter

How to change PIN

Settings -> Accounts -> Sign-in options -> PIN -> Change PIN

if you tick ‘Include letters and symbols’ you can then click again to see PIN requirements

Below are typical

• $\geq$6 chars long
• $\geq$1 upper case letter
• $\geq$1 lower case letter
• $\geq$1 digit

Auto log-out

Settings -> Accounts -> Sign-in options

“If you’ve been away, when should Windows require you to sign in again?” -> Never

Note that corporate policy may mean that e.g. 5 minutes is the longest option you can go with
